DescriptionA Marilyn Monroe-Gifted Sterling Silver Money Clip, Circa 1950s. Of standard design, engraved on the front "To Harry" and then in Monroe's own hand "Love and Kisses / Marilyn Monroe," hallmarked on the backside "Sterling CJS;" 'Harry' being Harry Roberts, a soundman at 20th Century Fox who had a close working relationship with Monroe as he received this special gift from her; though not always credited (as was often the case during this era), Roberts likely worked on most of Monroe's films since he was employed by Fox for decades. (Please note there are numerous superficial scratches on entire surface as piece was obviously used for a number of years.)

Consigned directly to Heritage Auctions by the grandson of Harry Roberts, Harry Hooten.
