Eighteen pieces, either about, from, or to the celebrated director, spanning three decades, including: 1) a 14-page employment contract with George Cukor [GC] and RKO, dated "June 16th, 1932," signed by him in black fountain pen ink on the last page; 2) a 2-page contract with GC and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, dated "June 21st, 1935," for "Romeo and Juliet," signed by him in black fountain pen ink on the last page; 3) a 9-page employment contract with GC and MGM, dated "October 21, 1935," signed by him in black fountain pen ink on the last page, 4) an SIP, Inc. 'Inter-Office Communication' memo, on blue paper, dated "Aug. 13th, 1937," from GC to DOS about casting of the Tarleton Twins from "GWTW;" 5) a letter to GC, one page, on MGM letterhead, dated "July 18, 1939" about completion of "The Women;" 6) a letter to GC from DOS, on personalized stationery, dated "February 16, 1940," about a funny, personal matter, signed in black fountain pen ink in the lower right side "David;" 7) a letter from the widow of Sidney Howard to GC, dated "December 9th, 1941" about the deceased writer; 8) a letter from DOS to GC, on personalized stationery, dated "October 16, 1956," about "Vanity Fair," signed in black fountain pen ink in the lower rigth corner "David;" 9) a letter from Irene Mayer Selznick to GC, dated "Feb. 9, 1965," about congratulations for his Oscar; 10) a file copy from GC to the Selznicks, dated "April 14, 1965," thanking them for their congratulations, signed by GC in blue ballpoint ink; 11) a Western Union telegram to GC from Tallulah Bankhead, dated "1965 Apr 7," about congratulations for his Oscar; 12) a file copy thank you note from GC back to Bankhead, signed by him in blue ballpoint ink; 13) a handwritten letter to GC from Radie Harris; 14) a typed letter from GC to Alex Tiers, dated "Feb. 21, 1964," signed by him in black fountain pen ink; 15) a letter from GC to Radie Harris, dated "April 28, 1965," signed by him in black fountain pen ink; 16) a letter from GC to Joan Crawford, dated "July 14, 1965," signed and annotated by him in red felt-tip ink; 17) a Christmas card mailed out by GC in 1966; and 18) a letter to GC from Radie Harris.
