An original print with a matte finish, depicting the character actor in a serious headshot, signed in black fountain pen ink on lower left side "To Don Brown / Best Wishes / 'Gabby' Hayes," 'Don Brown' being Donald H. Brown, a producer at Republic Pictures who worked on a number of projects with Hayes including the two 1945 Roy Rogers films "Utah" and "Don't Fence Me In." (Please note there is very slight creasing in the lower left corner on the white borders only.)
