DescriptionA Frank Sinatra and a Peter Lawford Set of Signed Items from the Cal-Neva Lodge, Circa 1962. The first a paper cocktail napkin from the famed Lake Tahoe Casino [at the California/Nevada state line] signed in blue ballpoint ink on the back "Frank Sinatra;" the second a wine list signed in pencil on the back "Peter Lawford." (Please note both pieces have coffee stains and Lawford's signature is quite faded.)
7" x 5"; 5" x 5"
Though countless movie stars and gangsters frequented this lodge from the 1920s to the 1960s including one-time co-owner Frank Sinatra and his Rat Pack, the Cal-Neva is now best remembered for being the place where Marilyn Monroe spent a mysterious (and some say debauched) week-end, just a few days before she died.
