A Clark Gable Signed 'Lucky Strike' Cigarettes Release Form, 1937. A standard 'Statement and Release' form for either a radio or print advertisement the actor did while he was making the MGM film "Saratoga," dated "July 2, 1937" (just a month after his co-star Jean Harlow had died before the film was finished), with now funny (in a sad way) text reading in part: "Having smoked between every 'take,' I'm on my second pack of Luckies. Even though my throat is about ready to go on strike, it still welcomes a Lucky. I've won a lot of bets that I can tell a Lucky from any other cigarette. But I ought to know after smoking them for 10 years;" signed in black fountain pen ink in the lower right corner "Clark Gable;" with five-hole punch marks on top margin. (Please note there is paper loss in the lower right corner.)
