    A Charles Dickens Handwritten Note, 1844. On a single sheet of paper, penned in blue fountain pen ink, dated "Thursday Twenty Fifth April / 1844," reading in part "Lord Lansdowne / has been out of town; and I only / received the enclosed last night," signed in the lower right corner "Charles Dickens;" matted next to a black and white image of the author; on display in Stallone's home library for many years. (Please note the letter is mounted to a board.)
