Arnold Schwarzenegger armature puppet from T2 922. Screen-used Arnold Schwarzenegger "T-800 Terminator" stop-motion armature puppet from Terminator 2: Judgment Day. (Carolco, 1991) This 17-inch tall fully-clothed figure is created of foam latex over a steel ball and socket stop-motion armature was used in the climactic final chase scene when Arnold attempts to stop the T-1000 driving the "CRYOCO" 18-wheeler loaded with liquid nitrogen. This puppet was used when the truck overturns and Arnold flips over hanging from the cab. It was used later in the sequence when he is kneeling on top of the cab when the truck slides into the factory door and he leaps off and somersaults on the factory floor. For various aspects of this highly complex action sequence, the joints of the armature were loosened and radio-controlled servos were installed to mimic realistic movement pertaining to each minute shot. The foam latex over the armature has deteriorated which is common for the material, but the detailed biker clothing and steel armature beneath remain in excellent condition. Also comes with a resin reference casting of Arnold's face in the same scale as the puppet. A fantastic relic from this iconic sci-fi film.
