Anne Bancroft "Lady Churchill" costume from Young Winston. (Columbia, 1972) Vintage original (2) piece period ivory satin and velvet dress including (1) blouse with lace sleeves, collar with velvet lapel and bow accent at the bodice, and wraparound velvet self-belt with fringe embellishment worn over (1) matching velvet and lace floor-length skirt with hook and eye front closure. Both pieces retain the internal Bermans & Nathans bias labels with the skirt handwritten, "Miss Ann Bancroft" and with handwritten "1" on both labels. Exhibiting minor discoloration and age, in vintage very good to fine condition.
