Andy Warhol signed iconic Campbell's Soup label. (ca. 1960s) Vintage original Andy Warhol signed Campbell's soup label. The pop artist signs "Andy Warhol" in black felt tip on the label, still affixed to the Campbell's soup can, made famous after Warhol's 1962 "Campbell's Soup Cans", a series of 32 paintings representing each soup flavor. Autographed cans of Campbell's soup were sold at the famous "American Supermarket" exhibit at Paul Bianchini's Upper East Side gallery in 1964, likely where this was obtained. Can measures 4 x 2.625 in. Bottom lid has been removed, so can is empty. Exhibiting rusting to metal and minor soiling. In vintage very good condition.
