A Steve McQueen Owned Script from "The Thomas Crown Affair." United Artists, 1968. Leather-bound by California Bookbinding, with the film's working title ("Thomas Crown and Company") and "Steve McQueen" gold-stamped on the cover, "1967" gold-stamped on the spine, 109 pages; screenplay by Alan R. Trustman, with 19 pages exhibiting numerous handwritten annotations (in McQueen's own hand, no less!) and colored revision pages throughout; never before offered at auction anywhere; personally owned by Steve McQueen, whose wonderful portrayal of the titular Thomas Crown, a millionaire playboy-turned-heist-mastermind, was matched by Faye Dunaway's performance as highly intuitive insurance investigator Vicki Anderson; a classic example of the crime film. (Please note the light wear to the script's leather cover, and light toning to the inner pages.)
