    A Lana Turner Period Costume from "The Three Musketeers" from The Debbie Reynolds Collection. Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, 1948. Designed by Walter Plunkett; two pieces; made of a vibrant reddish-orange-colored wool; the top a fitted bodice with an added gold and black lamé center panel, short sleeves with elaborate 'loop' detailing at elbow, numerous hook and eye back closures, MGM drycleaning tag stapled to lining; together with a matching full skirt, numerous pleats, same gold and black lamé center panel, numerous hook and eye and snap back closures, label reads "1420-4798 Lana Turner;" worn by the actress as she portrayed "Lady de Winter" in the film co-starring Gene Kelly, Van Heflin, Vincent Price, Angela Lansbury, and Gig Young. (Please note costume is in somewhat worn condition due to age, the lamé parts are not original, and other adornment is now missing.)
