    A Clark Gable Period Vest from "Gone With The Wind." Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, 1939. Gray wool front, gray silk back, rounded lapels, five button front closure, two front welt pockets, tan satin lining, 'Selznick Int. Pictures Inc.' label reads "20-108-M-90," further 'Oviatt's (of) Los Angeles and Beverly Hills' label reads in part "Mr. Clark Gable / 4394 O.G. / 2/6/39;" worn by the actor as "Rhett Butler" in numerous scenes and very similar to the one he wears when returning a wounded "Ashley Wilkes" [Leslie Howard] to "Melanie Hamilton Wilkes" [Olivia De Havilland]. (Please note the lining is now faded and somewhat threadbare due to age.)
