A Cashmere Overcoat from "Rocky III." Metro Goldwyn Mayer/United Artists, 1982. Camel cashmere coat with 'Carmen / Lamola / Beverly Hills' label reading in part "S. Stallone / 3-30 1981" and label reading "Custom Styled For / Sylvester Stallone" worn by Stallone as "Rocky Balboa" when he bails "Paulie" out of jail; made expressly for Stallone by his favorite tailor, Giacomo, to wear in this film as well as in his personal life.

"This coat has a great deal of significance because this is the first time we see Rocky after he's become a champion and we realize he's a changed man. What is immediately apparent is that he's become very conscious about his look. The old Rocky didn't care what he looked like but now he has become a bit vain, a bit superficial. And this coat shows that he's now a different man which is very important in the storyline of Rocky III -- where he has to get back 'the eye of the tiger.' This coat was made by the finest Italian tailor in town, Giacomo, and it's a great article of clothing."
