    A Beyoncé Dress Worn on "Saturday Night Live," 2008. NBC Television, 1975-Present. Pearl grey knit jersey, yellow trim at bust and waist, sleeveless, pleated front; worn by the star when she was the musical guest on the November 15, 2008 episode when she sang 'If I Were A Boy;' included is a detailed letter of provenance from the designer of the dress, Brooke Martisse [of Martisse New York], who notes in part "Beyoncé chose (my) dress... / with the understanding that / she would return it to (me) the following day;" further included is a DVD from NBC of the entire episode of "SNL" where Queen Bey can be seen performing in this provocative dress. (Please note there are a few fade marks around the waist and shoulder areas due to age.)
