"Xenomorph" alien head from Aliens....

Description

"Xenomorph" alien head from Aliens. (TCF, 1986) Vintage original alien Xenomorph head constructed of cast foam latex elongated cranium and skull-like face and cast hard rubber lower jaw, teeth and inner mouth. Expertly studio painted in organic insect browns, amber and gray and teeth in metallic silver. Teeth have also been "slimed" with silicone caulk for display. The bottom center of the head is indented to be worn on an actor's head, like a hat, as the crowning piece of a full creature suit. Originally designed by H.R. Giger for Alien (1979). The head measures 33 x 9 x 6 in. and exhibits age and wear and some paint crazing to surface. Foam latex components remain supple. Due to the nature of materials and production use, surviving examples are rare. In vintage very good condition.
