Description
"Bambi" and "Thumper" bronze sculpture from Bambi. (Wolf's Head Productions/Henry Alvarez Foundry, 1990's). Rare 8 x 11.5 in. bronze sculpture of "Bambi" and "Thumper" from Disney's classic. This is a Wolf's Head Productions prototype for their proposed line of Disney sculptures. Sculpted by artist Andrea Alvarez and produced in the Henry Alvarez Foundry, only two of these bronzes were produced and never made available to the public. This artists' proof was retained by Henry Alvarez. The mold for this piece has been destroyed and no more will ever be produced. In fine condition.
