Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (TCF, 1980). Very Fine. Special Advance Screening Invitation (5" x 7"), Lunch Ticket (4" x 4.5"), and Envelope (7.25" x 5.25"). This lot contains an original special advance screening invitation/ticket with a debossed logo for The Empire Strikes Back at the Northpoint Theater in San Francisco on Saturday, April 26, 1980. This was a cast and crew screening screening, and included a ticket for "You and your family" to attend a buffet lunch at Neptune's Palace restaurant on Pier 39. Both are accompanied by the original transmittal envelope, addressed to ILM special effects wizard Howie Stern. The envelope is torn at the top and exhibits light toning.
