DescriptionThe Ghost of Frankenstein (Universal, 1942). Rolled, Fine+. Insert (14" X 36"). Lon Chaney Jr., in his only appearance as The Monster, is convinced by Ygor (Bela Lugosi in one of his best roles), to allow Dr. Frankenstein to swap brains between the Monster and a little girl. Cedric Hardwicke as Dr. Ludwig Frankenstein was in fine form but it was Lugosi who stole the show as the scheming Ygor. Ygor has plans of his own, to have his brain into the Monster's body and therefore give him a stronger body than the one he has now. Evelyn Ankers, Ralph Bellamy, Lionel Atwill, and Dwight Frye rounded out the cast on this classic from the original Universal Monster series. This insert has been expertly restored with touchups to the folds and borders, along with some work within the image. A stunning piece for any collector! Although this poster has been previously folded, it will be shipped flat.
