DescriptionCreature from the Black Lagoon (Universal International, 1954). Very Fine on Linen. One Sheet (27" X 41") Albert Kallis Artwork. An icon in the realm of cinematic horror, Jack Arnold's Gill-Man stands tall among the most famous monsters in Universal's repertoire, considered an equal to such longtime favorite titles as Dracula, Frankenstein, and The Wolf Man. Received now with even more cult praise; almost 70 years after its initial release, is the instantly recognizable image synonymous with the horror genre created by Albert Kallis. An absolute must-have for fans of the darker side of cinema and '50s classic, no serious collector could have a complete collection without this gem of a poster. Restoration and touchup have addressed light fold wear and a few small tears within the border, which help make this poster display very well.
