Even though its films take place in a galaxy far, far away, the Star Wars franchise has connected with audiences since the original film's release in 1977. George Lucas' imagination led to a licensing goldmine of action figures, play sets, posters, board games, books, trading cards, costumes, and more. The retail and promotional items made in conjunction with this multi-faceted property have brought tremendous joy to fans worldwide and remain coveted among collectors. Of course, trading card sets were released for Star Wars. Topps released a variety of sets, including the Galaxy series, which started in 1993.

Offered in this lot is a complete set of Gold Foil insert cards from the 2010 Topps Star Wars Galaxy Series 5 set. Cards from this 15-card insert set had a pull rate of 1:39 packs and are numbered out of 770. The set offered here is special because every card has been signed by artist Randy Martinez.
