Description

1994 Fleer Marvel Masterpieces - #137 Wolverine - Original Trading Card Artwork by Greg and Tim Hildebrandt .
Offered is the original acrylic painting used to produce Card #137: Wolverine from the 1994 Fleer Marvel Masterpieces trading card set. This edition marked the third release in the acclaimed series and elevated Marvel's characters into the realm of high fantasy art. For the first time, the entire set - including inserts - was illustrated by the legendary Hildebrandt brothers, Greg and Tim, known for their work on The Lord of the Rings, Star Wars posters, and Magic: The Gathering cards.

This dynamic scene features Wolverine charging through a snowy mountain landscape, rendered in the Hildebrandts' signature style - dramatic lighting, bold color palettes, and intense one-point perspective. The image is instantly recognizable to fans of the set and represents one of its most iconic portrayals.

Medium: Acrylic on board
Image size: 17" x 23.75"
Mounted size: 23" x 30" on board backing
