Marvel introduced an innovative concept with this set, ingeniously designing it so that every nine cards come together to form a single large image, depicting the heroes and villains in dynamic action. On the back of each card, there are charts detailing the characters' various ability levels, clearly indicating who stands as the mightiest among them. This set distinguishes itself with its imaginative layout, consisting of 180 base cards, hologram cards, and red foil cards that highlight characters from various 2099 comic series, all brought to life by the exceptional skills of some of the era's most talented Marvel artists.

Offered in this lot is a group of 2 uncut sheets featuring cards from the Red Foil 2099 insert set. This set consists of 9 cards, all of which are present on each sheet. This includes Doom, Vulture, Ravage, Fearmaster, Spider-Man, Punisher, Specialist, Dethstryk, and Tiger Wylde 2099. They measure approximately 9.5" x 12.375". Note that one sheet contains the proper red foil treatment on the front of the cards, while the other is missing the backgrounds and instead has thick black outlines around the characters. They both have general handling wear, with multiple creases across both sides of the sheets. The red foil sheet has a white label sticker stuck on the left edge, covering a small portion of two cards. The overall condition is Good. From the Phifer Bros Collection
