Following the success of Impel's Marvel Universe trading card set in 1990, a Series 2 was released the following year. With 162 cards, all the major Marvel characters at the time, from heroes to villains, were showcased in this set. It also featured teams, weapons, rookies, arch-enemies, and legends.
