The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are a group of four anthropomorphic turtles--Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael--who were mutated by a mysterious substance known as "ooze." Trained in the art of ninjutsu by their rat sensei, Splinter, they fight to protect New York City from evil forces, including their arch-nemesis, The Shredder. With unique personalities and a love for pizza, the TMNT are beloved icons of pop culture, combining action, humor, and heart in their adventures.
