1961 Nu-Card Horror Monsters - Empty Wax Box .
Offered is a rare empty wax box from the 1961 Nu-Card Horror Monsters. Released during the height of early 1960s "monster mania," this vintage non-sport set features black-and-white film stills of classic horror icons and creatures, paired with humorous monster-themed jokes on the reverse--a blend of fright and fun that captured the era's fascination with classic movie monsters. This box has light wear to the edges and corners. The top side has creasing and a tear at the top. The front side also has a vertical tear near the right edge. The edge where the right and back sides of the box meet has been torn. The overall condition is Good.
