1952 Topps Look 'n See Amerigo Vespucci #118 - PSA 8 .
The 1952 Topps Look 'n See set is comprised of 135 cards, each measuring 2-1/16" x 2-7/8". Released in two series-one of 75 cards and the other of 60-each card features a vibrant, artistically rendered portrait set against a white border. A white rectangle at the bottom identifies the historical figure, framed in yellow, with a small icon denoting the subset. The backs of the cards are orange with white text, offering a biography of the figure, a shield displaying the card number in the upper left corner, and a trivia question. A red cellophane "decoder," included in each pack, allowed fans to reveal the trivia answer. This diverse collection includes explorers, scientists, political leaders, writers, artists, and other notable personalities from American and world history. The set remains one of the most cherished non-sports issues from the post-war era.

Offered here is card #118, featuring Amerigo Vespucci, an Italian explorer whose voyages to the New World contributed to the understanding of the Americas. North and South America were named in his honor. PSA has certified 31 copies earning a NM-MT 8 grade with only 15 graded higher.
