Making his debut on the radio in 1933, the Lone Ranger is one of the most famous American fictional characters of the 20th century. Keeping his identity secret thanks to a now iconic mask, and along with the help of his Native American partner named Tonto, they were larger than life heroes of the Wild Wild West. The pair thrilled kids for decades via 1,300 radio episodes at first then as a famously popular television show (played by Clayton Moore and Jay Silverheels) from 1940 to 1957, plus Big Little books, comic strips, comic books and a series of movies. And then there were an avalanche of endorsements, including multiple toys and games and of course trading cards.

Offered in this lot is a complete set of all 48 cards from the the Lone Ranger card set released by Gum Inc. in 1940! Also included is a complete set of all 13 cards from The Twelve Unpublished insert set of the 1997 Dart Lone Ranger set. These cards follow where the original 1940 set left off.

Condition: The grades of the cards range from Fair to Near Mint-Mint with some that fall below that range.
