"Tarantula" Movie Script. The '50s produced a glut of great (and not-so-great) B-grade sci-fi and horror films. When the radiation-spawned giant ants of "Them!" swarmed over American screens to become one the most successful films of 1954, it didn't take long for for other mutant bug movies to follow suit. One of the best was Jack Arnold's "Tarantula," which starred Leo G. Carroll as a scientist whose radiation experiments transform a spider into a rampaging monster (sounds vaguely familiar...). Aside from it's B-movie greatness, "Tarantula" is significant for another reason: it marked the feature film debut of a struggling young actor named Clint Eastwood, playing a fighter pilot assigned to blast the bejeezus out of the titular arachnid. Up for grabs in this lot is a copy of Martin Berkeley's classic screenplay.
