    Description

    W. C. Fields Signed Manuscript. Here is a fourteen-page comedy sketch titled "One of the Six Best Cellars" handwritten and signed by the comedian. Although not dated, this satiric comedy sketch was likely written during the Prohibition era, as the bit involves some cleverly hidden hooch. In the early 1920s Fields wrote many comedy sketches while performing in New York's vaudeville, most notably in the Ziegfeld Follies, and many of his sketches revolved around a con man who really liked his booze. A rusty paper clip impression marks the top edges of some pages. Overall, fine condition. With COA from PSA/DNA.
