Whitney Houston's One-Of-A-Kind Marc Bouwer-Designed Wedding Gown Worn During Her Wedding To Entertainer Bobby Brown, July 18, 1992.
The spectacular four-piece ensemble comprises: One - a high-necked floor-length ivory satin gown with built in "Carnival" bodice and full-length sheer nylon sleeves. The gown has a silk mesh overlay which is intricately decorated with iridescent sequins and bugle beads in various elaborate floral motifs. Labeled inside "Marc Bouwer". Two - a pair of matching satin sleeves, similarly decorated. Three - a matching beaded and sequined satin cloche hat. Four - a floor-length sheer white silk veil decorated with semi-round pearlescent beads. With a color photograph of Whitney Houston wearing the dress on the aisle accompanied by her father John Houston. The bottom of the gown has some marks and scuffs which are consistent with it coming into contact with the floor while being worn. There is a small hole to the veil. Otherwise the ensemble appears to be in Excellent condition. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from the Estate of Whitney E. Houston.

This stunning gown and veil were custom designed by Whitney and Marc Bouwer along with her stylist at the time, Diane Johnson. Whitney wanted a fitted gown, but one that was not revealing, with a non-traditional veil. There were over 800 guests in attendance as her father John Houston walked her down the aisle on the grounds of her estate in Mendham, New Jersey.
