The Beatles Related Klaus Voormann Three Pieces Signed Artwork. Klaus Voormann first met the Beatles in Hamburg Germany when he took a walk down the Reeperbahn. He heard this loud music coming out of the Kaiserkeller club. He walked in on a performance by Rory Storm and the Hurricanes. The next band up was the Beatles. Klaus was so knocked out that the next day he brought his friends Astrid Kirchherr and Jurgen Vollmer. That started a friendship that has lasted to this day.

Neil Aspinall commissioned Klaus to create some original images for the Anthology series. Overseen by Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Yoko Ono, Klaus suggested Beatles' posters in a peeling design with album covers over the course of the band's tenure. Working with friend and fellow artist Alfons Kiefer, the work required over 1,000 hours to make it a reality.
