    Description

The Beatles Beat Bongos, Mastro No. 360, Super-Rare, with Original Display Box & Instructions (USA,1964). How often do you see this? Not a reproduction, this is the real thing and the smaller set. The bongos themselves are red plastic stating: "Permanent Weatherproof Head [that] Stays in Tune". The head diameters are approximately 4.5" x 5.5" and there are color Beatles image decals on the front of each bongo with a Mastro decal at center. Overall bongo dimensions are approximately 11" wide x 5.25" tall x 5.75" deep. The box measures approx: 12.5" x 5.5" x 7" and bears the Beatles images on top that opens up into a self-contained store display. It states "Made in U.S.A. Under License" both on top and the back. The insert is present. Also included the original instruction pamphlet. Bongos are in Very Good condition with some wear and yellowing to the skins surface. The box is in Good Condition showing some yellowing, dents and tearing. This is a rare and desirable example missing from a lot (if not most) Beatle collections. Don't miss this desirable lot. From The Connie and Dennis Dailey Monumental Beatles Collection. COA from Heritage Auctions. After Presley and his friends and employees adopted the "TCB" acronym (for "Taking Care of Business"), he eventually went so far as to officially name his band the TCB Band, had the tail of his private jet painted with the logo, and gave away TCB gold necklaces as gifts.
