Teri Garr's Family Plot Shooting Script. This script, marked "Untitled" and dated January 13, 1975, was the "rainbow shooting script" for Alfred Hitchcock's Family Plot, the director's final film. The screenplay was by Ernest Lehman, based on Victor Canning's novel The Rainbird Pattern. Phyllis Garr, mother of actress Teri Garr, was wardrobe mistress on the film (and many others) and the script contains her extensive handwritten notes, on Universal Studios Wardrobe forms and yellow lined paper, regarding costumes for stars Karen Black, Barbara Harris, and other cast members. Also included in the folder are four 4" x 5" b&w Western wardrobe test photos of Diana Darin, Luana Patten, and Linda Hutchings from 1961's The Little Shepherd of Kingdom Come, on which Ms. Garr was wardrobe mistress. (Her talents were clearly eclectic.) There are many annotations in the script by Ms. Garr and the script comes incongruously but charmingly in a yellow "Pee-Chee All Season Portfolio" binding with sports figures on the front and back cover. In Very Fine condition. A fascinating artifact from Hitchcock's swan song.
