    Description

Nirvana "Nevermind" Australian Tour Poster (Magnet Promotions, 1992). Just as Nirvana's breakthrough second album was making waves in the US, Kurt Cobain, Krist Novoselic, and Dave Grohl were scheduled for a club tour Down Under. The tour had been booked well in advance of their meteoric rise following the release of Nevermind, but rather than hold out for bigger venues, the band embraced their low-key appearances in Australia. When they returned to the US, their lives would change forever. Here's an original poster for that tour, listing nine shows. It's printed in thin paper stock, using metallic silver ink. The poster measures approximately 19.75" x 29.75". There is minor creasing in the lower border, for an overall Very Good Plus condition, but this one will display very nicely when under glass.
