Michael Jackson White Fedora, 1988. White wool, back silk grosgrain hatband, inside trim embossed in gold "Michael Jackson" and "Casablanca," inside lining with maker's label reading "International Collection / Established 1923 / Golden Gate Hat Company / Los Angeles, California;" included with a typed letter dated "January 17, 2007" reading in part "...on April 1, 1988 during the...Bad tour I attended the concert as part of the Children's Make A Wish Foundation...backstage I was handed this hat that he (MJ) wore during the performance of the song, 'Smooth Criminal'...Yours truly, Samantha C. Row," with the letter further outlining Row's funny recollections of her encounter with Jackson that night. (Please note the hat appears to have slight water damage.)
