Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios: Fantastic Archive of Original Photographs (1925-1929). Approximately two hundred and five 8" x 10" black-and-white photographs bound in a ledger-style binding. The professional images depict backlots under construction, staff, buildings, detailed shots of various studio departments including the barber shop, make up studio, prop shop, and wardrobe. In short, every imaginable detail of the studio circa 1925. The 1925 date comes from a photograph showing a banner for The Big Parade which was made by MGM and released in November, 1925. These photos could be the basis of a book on the early history of the MGM studio. The studio produced over 100 feature films in its first two years including the acclaimed Ben-Hur, hence the scores of photos in the archive showing construction on a grand scale. Very Good condition, with punch holes in several photos, along with creasing and soiling in some, and paper loss in the edges

The movie quite literally changed my life. I have included a pic of me in Sly's Rocky 3 Cashmere overcoat, would much appreciate if it is possible for you to forward this email to Sly to let him know the overcoat is in good hands, and will be well taken care of, (as will be the Rambo knife forging tools, the other lot I won!) Wish you very happy holidays and a great 2016!
