Led Zeppelin "The Object" Promotional Statue (1976). "The Object" is the black obelisk featured on the cover and inner sleeve of Led Zeppelin's 1976 album, Presence. Designed to represent the "force and presence" of the group, "the Object" is simple, sleek, and ever-so-slightly ominous. To coincide with the release of the album, Zeppelin's label Swan Song manufactured 1000 individually-numbered replicas of the miniature monolith, to be used as promotional items. This "Object" is numbered 281 of 1000, and has the band's name, album title, and date stamped into its surface. Measuring 12" tall and roughly 5" x 5" at the base, this obelisk is in Fine condition, a dent in one of the top four corners, and a few slight scratches.
