Led Zeppelin 1970 Dallas, TX Union Jack Concert-Advertising Handbill. An original concert-advertising flyer from the spring of 1970 for Led Zeppelin appearing at the Dallas Memorial Auditorium on Saturday, March 28, 1970. The band was touring in support of its second album, Led Zeppelin II.

This item is not to be confused with the like-looking handbill for Zep appearing at the Tarrant County Convention Center in neighboring Ft. Worth, Texas later that summer. Heritage has auctioned off that flyer twice before, but this is the very first time we've had the much rarer Dallas one from March in our auctions.

Zeppelin was catching on big-time by this point, on their fifth trek across America. They had previously had opening acts on their shows; from now on, it would be "An Evening With (or Of) Led Zeppelin" with nobody else on the bill. This tour grossed over $1 million, in a first for the band.

Songs performed on this occasion included "Dazed and Confused," "Heartbreaker," "Bring It on Home," "Since I've Been Loving You" and "What Is and What Should Never Be."

Measures 11 ½" x 8 ½" and grades to Very Good with toning on both sides, tack holes and a small amount of damage in the two upper corners (repaired by a tiny amount of tape on the verso), and a moderate amount of surface creasing from standard handling over the years. COA from Heritage Auctions.

The movie quite literally changed my life. I have included a pic of me in Sly's Rocky 3 Cashmere overcoat, would much appreciate if it is possible for you to forward this email to Sly to let him know the overcoat is in good hands, and will be well taken care of, (as will be the Rambo knife forging tools, the other lot I won!) Wish you very happy holidays and a great 2016!
