John Lennon Signed Imagine LP (1975). Long-time journalist and Channel 6 News (WFIL, Philadelphia) anchor Larry Kane, who accompanied The Beatles on the group's 1964 and 1965 tours, asked John Lennon to appear as a guest DJ at a charity benefit event in 1975. The Beatles ex-frontman took a train from his residence in New York City to Philadelphia and appeared at the Helping Hand Marathon for three days May 16-18, 1975. Our offering was signed by Lennon on May 16, the first day of the event, when the crowd was relatively sparse. Lennon obliged with a relaxed, non-rushed and neat (for him) autograph in black ink pen on the front cover of a copy of his classic Imagine album. Condition: Cover EX 7. COA from Heritage Auctions.
