Description

Jan and Dean-Related Script from the Never-Completed Film "Easy Come, Easy Go." Paramount, 1965. Housed in a black leather script cover, no authorship noted, dated "July 14, 1965," marked "Shooting Script," 78 pages, numerous colored script change pages throughout, further included with a few pages marked "Shooting Schedule" plus numerous pages of handwritten notes about props and equipment penned by Tommy Plews, a longtime Hollywood prop master, whose script this was; sadly the film was never finished as there was an accident on the set where a train crashed into a car, injuring lead actor Jan [Berry of Jan and Dean music duo fame] and director Barry Shear, thus production was halted then altogether cancelled -- a strange foreshadowing of Jan's infamous car accident eight months later; interestingly, the title was re-purposed for a 1967 Elvis Presley film from the same studio [Paramount], though the plot was completely different; consigned to this auction directly by Plews' grandson.
