    Description

    Harry James Personally Owned Selmer Trumpet (circa 1939). Bearing a partially indistinct stamped serial number "2025". This beautifully engraved Harry James model trumpet from Selmer is engraved with a detailed floral design, with engraved inscription reading "Harry James". This floral engraved instrument is said to have been owned and played by Harry James himself. The trumpet comes in a hard shell double case. Minor dents and scratches are present but nothing to severe. Mouthpiece is a "H. James" model by "J. Parduba & Son, Double-cup". Accompanied by a letter of provenance from long-time employee of James, confirming the trumpet was owned by the great bandleader.
