Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons 1968 Vintage Concert Poster.
An unusual cardboard concert-advertising window card for the Jersey Boys themselves in Charleston, West Virginia on Saturday, May 18, 1968. Is that really all four members of the group pictured as little boys inside the lettering? We'd certainly assume so. If so, identifying each one is a task that frankly, we're not up to. :-)

As anybody who saw the JB movie or stage play knows, lead singer Frankie Valli had started his solo career on the side while still recording and performing with his old bandmates. It worked quite well for a while. At the time of this show, the group's latest hit was "C'mon Marianne," a national top-tenner the previous summer; and simultaneously, Frankie was taking "Can't Take My Eyes Off You" into Billboard's Top 5. So it's really nice to find a vintage concert poster that hits that career sweet spot, plugging both the group name and giving Frankie some love as a solo artist as well. Not to mention its highly imaginative design... have you ever seen a rock-concert poster before where the musicians were pictured as babies? Didn't think so.

Measures 14" x 22". In Very Good condition with pin holes, small loss on corners, bumping on the corners, tape on the upper left corner, fold mark towards the bottom left corner, and creasing on the right center side and bottom right corner. But most of that involves the margins; all of the colorful area and graphics information look just fine. COA from Heritage Auctions.
