Bruce Lee Handwritten Letter Signed "Bruce" Written to Bob Baker Regarding a Shoot For Black Belt Magazine Promoting Mentor James Yimm Lee's Book Wing Chun Kung-Fu. Written by Lee to friend, confidante, and fellow Fist of Fury actor Robert "Bob" Baker, one-page (8.25" x 11"; 210 mm x 279 mm) on printed "Jeet Kune Do" personal letterhead stationery featuring gold and red yin and yang symbol and black Chinese characters indicating "Using no way as way" and "Having no limitation as limitation" representing Lee's personal hybrid philosophy on martial arts. Accompanied by original (9" x 4"; 229 mm x 102 mm) transmittal envelope, postmarked from Los Angeles, CA., 25 May 1971, written in Lee's hand, Mr. Bob Baker / 28625 Rochelle Ave. / Hayward, Cal. 94544. Expected folds with minor stains and handling.

Lee discusses a tiresome two-day photoshoot for Black Belt magazine to promote James Yimm Lee's book Wing Chun Kung-Fu, as well as his potential involvement in an episode of Stirling Silliphant's new series, Longstreet. Lee writes in part: Finally got a date for Longstreet -- the 22nd of June, if nothing changes. Otherwise, no news."
