BG-4 Jefferson Airplane 1966 Fillmore Auditorium Concert Poster Signed by Wes Wilson. First-printing San Francisco concert poster for the Jefferson Airplane, Quicksilver Messenger Service, Lightning Hopkins and the Jaywalkers at the Fillmore Auditorium on April 29 and 30, 1966.

Known as BG-4 in the Bill Graham numbered series, this poster was signed by the poster's creator, Wes Wilson, in pencil down in the lower right corner. Wes was known as the dean of San Francisco psychedelic poster artists, having designed 45 of the first 50 Bill Graham concert posters, and the first 10 Family Dog posters as well. Sadly, Mr. Wilson just passed away earlier this year.

This was very early for the Airplane, with Signe Anderson still in the band instead of Grace Slick, only one single released thus far, "It's No Secret"/"Runnin' 'Round This World," and their debut album still four months off.

Measures 14" x 20" and graded Near Mint Minus. Very small bumps in the two upper corners. Very slight toning but generally kept out of the light. A subtle horizontal toning mark ½" from bottom edge that extends from the left edge most of the way across and has the slightest of a surface crease up to the word "Stanford." Tiniest bit of edge wear to the right of "Friday only" and in lower right vertical corner area. Overall in beautiful condition with the purple & green as rich as the day it was printed. Perfect signature by Wes.
