Beatles For Sale UK Mono Album Jacket Signed By All Four Members (Parlophone, 1964). An original copy of a Beatles For Sale jacket signed in ballpoint pen by George, John, Ringo, and Paul. George's and John's signatures are in blue ink, while Ringo's and Paul's are in black ink. Does not contain the vinyl record. Jacket is very rare given the highly-laminated condition, and it came from an era where Beatles autographs from all four were very rare. Given the popularity of the group in late 1964 -- when this was released only in the UK -- procuring autographs from all of Fab Four was harder and harder. This is one of the cleanest signed Beatles albums to come through Heritage Auctions, ever since we obtained a copy of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band signed by all four members. There has been some ink restoration to the signatures of Paul, George, and Ringo when originally signed do to the slick laminated surface of the cover. Please see image of album online before signature restoration for clarification.Beatles For Sale was the fourth album to come out in the UK on December 4th, 1964, ending a whirlwind breakthrough year for the group. This new release hit number one on the Melody Maker chart for nine weeks, pushing A Hard Day's Night down from the number one slot it had held for 21 straight weeks. Included is a handwritten note from the original owner's daughter. Owner had a record shop in Greenwich South London and frequently met famous musicians. Jacket is in VG 5 condition.
