A Norma Jeane Baker Signature, 1942. A teal blue leatherbound autograph book, interior pink page inscribed in black fountain pen ink reads "5/13/42 / Dear Joan, / Heres wishing all / the luck and success in the / world to a very sweet girl. / Norma Jeane Baker;" signed by the soon-to-be Marilyn Monroe when she was a 15 year-old sophomore at University High School in West Los Angeles to her classmate, Joan Loye. Interestingly, Norma Jeane ended up getting married just a month after she signed this page, thus permanently ending her formal education -- something she was insecure about for the rest of her life. (Please note there are many other autographs of fellow students in this book.)
