A John Wayne Group of Signed Restaurant Receipts, 1966. Fourteen total; all from a hotel restaurant in Durango, Mexico called Campo Mexico Courts where Wayne was staying from September to December 1966 while filming "The War Wagon;" each one outlining what was ordered and how much it cost ("tequila" shows up frequently); each one signed by Wayne in blue or black ballpoint ink either "John Wayne" or "JWayne" with just one initialed only; the signatures break down as follows: 7 are written "JWayne;" 6 are written "John Wayne;" and 1 is written "JW."

These receipts were originally sold in the Heritage Auctions (Los Angeles) auction titled "The Personal Properly of John Wayne," Sale 7045, October 6-7, 2011, Lot 44406, final price realized was $9,560; included is the original COA from Ethan Wayne, John Wayne's youngest son.
