    A James Cagney Huge Collection of 22 Signed Black and White Headshots, Circa 1960, 1970s. Comprising 22 signed photographs plus many unsigned ones as outlined here:

    All the same image of the still-handsome mature star around age 60, all original prints with either a matte or glossy finish; comprising: 1) one with a glossy finish, signed in thick white fountain pen ink on the lower left side "Best o' luck / Jim Cagney," its margins trimmed off; this was the original used to make smaller duplicates to send to fans; 2) one with a glossy finish, signed in thick white fountain pen ink on the lower left side "Good luck / Jim Cagney," its margins trimmed off; this was another original one used to make smaller duplicates to send to fans; 3) 20 with a glossy finish, signed in thick black felt-tip ink (probably years later in the 1970s) in the top left corner "James Cagney;" likely all autographed in one sitting for Nora Helm [Cagney's longtime secretary] to send to fans; 4) approximately 130 smaller ones with a matte finish (NOT SIGNED); and 5) approximately 15 even smaller ones with a matte finish, verso has text noting in part "Cagney-Montgomery / Productions, Inc. / Dear Friend: / I wish to thank you for your / friendly letter..." (NOT SIGNED); also included are four negatives of the smallest-sized one; all kept by Helm for the ready when fans requested a signed photo of her boss.
