A Frank Sinatra Patinated Bronze Bust by Robert Berks, 1976. A weighty piece (approximately 25 pounds), depicting an excellent likeness of the singer, affixed to a square base, signed on the left side below the ear "Berks;" created for the November 14, 1976 Scopus Awards ceremony where Sinatra was honored because of his generous donations to the American Friends of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Interestingly, Berks also created the bust of JFK displayed at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and the sculpture of Albert Einstein displayed at the National Academy of Sciences, both in Washington, D.C.; gifted by Sinatra to his executive assistant of 30+ years, Dorothy Uhlemann.
