Description

Star Wars Static Polish Bootlegs Chief Chirpa CAS 55 & Logray CAS 80 – Loose (unknown, 1980s). This Series 3 Polish bootleg pairing draws from two of the most recognizable Ewoks in Return of the Jedi. Chief Chirpa appears as the formal leader of the Endor tribe, while Logray, the village shaman, handles much of the actual interaction during the Ewoks' capture of the Rebel heroes, including the group's wary exchange with C-3PO. That added screen presence gives Logray a little more personality on film, while Chirpa carries the authority, making them a strong complementary pair in this early Polish static format. Chief Chirpa is graded CAS 55 with a true grade of 55.7, and Logray is graded CAS 80 with a true grade of 80.5; both are Series 3 first-generation static figures, and both include Statements of Archival. These are the kind of Endor oddities that make Polish bootlegs so much fun, two tribal deep cuts from the forest moon, translated through one of the hobby's most gloriously unlicensed traditions.

More Information: Polish Bootlegs – Series 3 – 1st Generation Static Figures:
Polish Bootlegs Series 3 refers to the first large wave of unarticulated rubber Star Wars figures produced in Poland, circa 1984–1990. The series consists of 17 characters copied from across the Kenner line, spanning A New Hope through Power of the Force. These figures were molded in solid rubber, sold loose, and produced in multiple color variations depending on material availability, resulting in significant size and shade differences between examples. Accessories were minimal and inconsistent, with some figures fitted with simple vinyl capes in a range of colors. Today, Series 3 figures are recognized as the earliest widely distributed Polish Star Wars bootlegs and remain central to advanced Eastern Bloc variant collecting.

Auction Type
Signature Internet Extended Bid: These auctions are presented only online and bidding is only taken through our website. There are two phases of bidding during this type of auction: 1) Normal bidding: Bids are taken up until 7:00 PM CT the night the auction closes. 2) 15 Minute Ending: On a lot-by-lot basis, starting at 7:00 PM CT, any person who has bid on the lot previously may continue to bid on that lot until there are no more bids for 15 minutes. For example, if you bid on a lot during Normal Bidding, you could participate during Extended Bidding for that lot, but not on lots you did not bid on previously. If a bid was placed at 7:03, the new end time for that lot would become 7:18. If no other bids were placed before 7:18, the lot would close. If you are the high bidder on a lot, changing your bid will not extend the bidding during the 15 Minute Ending phase (only a bid from another bidder will extend bidding). If you are the only bidder at 7 PM, you will automatically win the lot at 7:15. Important: After normal bidding ends, you must be signed-on to the Heritage site to see the bidding option on lots where you qualify for extended bidding and you must be on an individual lot page to reflect the accurate time remaining for that particular lot.
